Ben Tongue, Tongue Lodge Sutherland in the Far North of Scotland

Standing on the waters edge of the Kyle, looking up at Ben Tongue we can see Tongue Lodge. The causeway carries the road West across the Kyle of Tongue in the exposed far North coast of the British Isles. A the top of Ben Tongue there is a small transmitter mast which transmits television to the local villages of only a couple hundred houses.

This was shortly before a storm rolled in, a picturesque day but windy & wild leaving me in need of a hot drink!
